I replaced the radiator, water valve and thermostat with no prevail! I also just checked the oil cap and there is a milky white residue on the inside....head gasket leaking? I made an attempt to get air out of the system and I had heat when doing the process but when I closed everything back up the heat went away. I am loosing patience with this car and if I can't get this problem fixed in two days I am going to be forced to sell it. I need help or point me to a good mechanic near Chicago.

you need to do a compression check to see if the head gaskets are leaking or blown, your intake gasket is most likely leaking due to the residue in the oil cap, it's caused by oil and water mixing. As for the loss of heat check the temp control switch on the dash board, could be a vacum tube on the canister of the water valve also, hope this helps...
